A session where your comfort is part of the work, not something we hope works itself out.

Boudoir — also called a sensual session — means photos anywhere from lingerie to nude, and you set the range. It’s the most personal kind of session I shoot. So before I write anything about light and framing, I’ll write about the rules — because they’re what decides whether a session like this makes sense at all.

Rules you can count on

The photos stay yours. Publishing requires your explicit consent — it isn’t a condition of the session and doesn’t follow from it automatically. You don’t have to agree to them being shown anywhere: not in my portfolio, not on Instagram. You can say yes to some frames and no to others.

Plainly: in a paid session you’re paying me for the work, and that’s the whole value it holds for me. If there’s a frame I’d like to show, I’ll ask separately — and “no” changes nothing between us.

You can bring someone with you. One person on set is no problem, and many people feel better having them there. You can also come alone — whichever you prefer.

You change without an audience. Studio or rented flat, I pick the place so there’s somewhere to change and get ready in peace.

We agree the range before the session. You tell me what’s in and what’s out — how much is uncovered, which frames, whether your face is recognisable. During the session we can always make it smaller.

Mood and range of the photos

A boudoir session starts from how the photos should look — bright, soft and luminous, or dark and raw. Window daylight gives warm, intimate frames. Studio strobes give stronger colour and full control regardless of the weather. You set the scope too — from lingerie shots to nudes.

How does it work?

1. Initial chat Reach out via the contact form or on Instagram. Tell me about yourself and what you’re looking for. I’ll suggest concepts that suit you.

2. Preparation Together we plan the moodboard (a set of reference images showing the mood, the light and the framing), outfits and the place. I listen to what you need, and if you send inspiration, I ask what matters most to you in it. Based on a short chat about your needs and what’s possible, I suggest a place that will live up to what you expect. You’ll get specific guidance on how to prepare.

3. The session We book 2–3 hours depending on the package, of which about 80–140 minutes is shooting. Every so often we look at the photos on a monitor and make corrections. The rest is preparation on both sides: you change outfits and touch up your hair or make-up, I set the light and look for frames.

4. Editing & delivery You get the finished photos within 14 days of your selection. Each one is retouched — skin, colours, framing. You receive high-resolution files.

Studio and other paid venues — how it adds up

Studios charge per started hour, and Warsaw rates are usually around 150 PLN/h. Session 10 and Session 20 take 2 started hours of booking (about 80 minutes of shooting), Session 40 takes 3 (about 140 minutes); the rest is setting up, outfit changes and clearing the space. So typically around 300 PLN or around 450 PLN for the studio. Outdoors there's usually nothing to add.

You pay the venue cost 1:1, with no markup from me. I give you the exact figure and agree it with you before booking the date.

Liked more frames than the package covers? You can add more at the price on the card — the bigger the package, the cheaper

Makeup and hair? I'll recommend a makeup artist I work with. You arrange and settle with her directly — she sets her own rate, roughly 320 PLN.

What to bring and how to prepare

  • We go over your outfits before the day of the session — I’m happy to advise on colours too
  • Come in loose clothes that don’t leave seam marks on your skin. Take off anything tight 2–3 hours before the session
  • A few sets of lingerie — from more covered to lace, if you like. Bring one more covered set you feel comfortable in, just in case
  • A shirt, an oversized sweater or trousers, so you can cover up partly — you don’t have to be in just lingerie. Covering up can be stronger than uncovering
  • Personal objects, if they belong in the pictures

FAQ

Sensual photos — anywhere from lingerie to nude, and you set the range. Boudoir and sensual sessions are two names for very close kinds of session, and both cover the same range.

Boudoir is French for a woman's private room: a boudoir, dressing room or bedroom. So the name points to an intimate interior — bedding, lingerie, warm window light. Sensual comes from the Latin sensus, “sense”, and describes a feeling rather than a place: the play of light and shadow, the shape and form of the body, often in small crops of the frame. The two are close, and both can go as far as nude. Which way we go, we decide before the session.

No. Before the session we agree whether your face should be recognisable. We can do a sensual, slightly mysterious session where you can't be recognised — then we play with shape, form and light, often in small crops of the frame.

No. The range — from lingerie shots to nude — is agreed before the session, and during it we can always make it smaller. You don't have to be in just lingerie either: a shirt, an oversized sweater or trousers let you cover up partly.

We stop. Your comfort and sense of safety come first. The contract sets the maximum range, and during the session we can always do less.

The gallery isn't public — only you get the link to it. Publishing needs your written consent, and you can agree to some frames and not others.

They may. If you'd rather they didn't, buy nipple covers before the session — they cost a few złoty. Retouching under fine lace is very time-consuming and isn't part of the standard package.

I don't slim anyone down and I don't make skin look “plastic”. Small things such as scars or bruises I retouch if you want me to. I'm also happy to take into account what not to retouch.

10 photos — 700 PLN, 20 photos — 1200 PLN, 40 photos — 2000 PLN. A paid venue (studio, apartment) is charged 1:1, with no markup from me, and you know the amount before booking. Details in the pricing.

No. Most people who come to me have no posing experience. On set I tell you how to position yourself. I won't bend you into poses you don't recognise yourself in — a photo in which you, or your partner, recognise you straight away is better.

No, unless you agree to it. This is a private session — by default I publish nothing: not in my portfolio, not on Instagram. Consent to publish is not a condition of the session. You can agree to some frames and not others, and a “no” changes nothing between us.

In Session 10 and Session 20 we book 2 hours, of which about 80 minutes is shooting (in Session 40 — 3 hours and about 140 minutes of shooting). The rest is prep on both sides: you unpack, change between outfits and touch up hair or makeup, while I look for frames and set up the light and the monitor we check the photos on every so often. I say it upfront so nobody is surprised the camera isn't working for the full 120 minutes. If the day allows, you can stay longer — each extra started hour is 300 PLN in a studio and 150 PLN outdoors.

Yes. One person on set doesn't get in the way, and many people feel more at ease with company. I only ask them to cheer from the side — the fewer distractions while posing, the better the photos. You can also come alone — whichever you prefer.

Yes. I'll recommend a makeup artist I work with. You arrange and settle with her directly — she sets her own rate, roughly 320 PLN. The exception is model tests, where polaroids and digitals are meant to show your natural features, so makeup gets in the way more than it helps.

We start with the vision, not the wardrobe. First we talk about what photos you want, and I put together a moodboard — a set of reference images showing the mood, the light and the framing. Based on it I tell you which clothes from your wardrobe to prepare, so you know what we're going for before you get on set. Got statement pieces you rarely have an occasion for? Go for it — a session is a good moment to bring them out. Bring outfits on hangers or in a garment bag so they don't crease. If you want makeup, I'll recommend a makeup artist I work with.

Yes. Each extra retouched photo costs the same as a photo in your package — the rates are in the price list. You add them when you make your selection.

Get in touch through the form or on Instagram, and we agree on the concept, place and date. Before booking you get the price list, the Session Terms and a draft contract. A deposit reserves the date and is counted towards the price — the amount for each package is in the price list.

Yes. Warsaw is my base, but I travel. By default I plan trips that fit into a single day: Krakow, Wroclaw, Poznan, Lodz, Lublin, Bialystok, Kielce, Radom, Olsztyn, Czestochowa, the Tricity area (Gdansk, Sopot, Gdynia), and the whole Katowice metropolitan area. Longer trips are possible too — if the shoot needs two days or the place is further out, we price it individually. Travel up to 50 km from my address (shortest road route) is included; beyond that it costs 1.50 PLN per kilometre over that limit (the rate already covers the round trip), and beyond 150 km I price it individually. You get the quote before booking. Your city not on the list? Get in touch — I'll check whether the trip makes sense.

Because the date and the location are one decision, not two. I don't have my own studio — I pick the location to fit what the pictures need, so until I know what kind of session we're making, I don't know which space can carry it or when it's free. A click-to-book calendar would promise availability I can't confirm before we've talked. That's why the process starts with a conversation, not a click — get in touch, tell me what you're looking for and roughly when suits you, and I'll come back with a proposed date and place.
